The school offers lessons to children as required by the Uganda's Ministry of Education and Sports, normally there are 4 major subjects taught and examinable by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB). These subjects are Mathematics,English,Science and Social Studies. Lessons like Physical Education are also mandatory to all the classes .

The school is set up on the foundation of Science and Humanism so Humanism and Free thought knowledge is taught to the learners, Humanist principles, Values and ethics are offered to our children, free inquiry and critical thinking based on science philosophy is emphasized and lessons offered are free from dogmas and indoctrinations which is prevalent in the majority of Ugandan communities. We embrace REASON and belief in things backed by empirical evidence not myths, fairy tales and allegories.

The school provides Arts and Crafts lessons to learners such that they are exposed to creativity to make things like ropes, mats, beads, pots, portraits, drawings, objects from available raw materials or wastes or trashes which can be of use to human nature. The skills attained helps the learner to stand better chances to employ themselves and earn a living through full time employment or doing the work part time.
Those who don't excel with school academic work are encouraged to concentrate a lot on attaining the basic skills in arts and crafts.

The school labors a lot in exposing the children to love music,to dance and participate in singing, create plays and poems and make presentations to fellow students. The world as it stands, the Music industry employs lots of people, some have earned reputations as celebrities who have transformed lives and made this world a better place.
The school intends to have a strong music, dance and drama group that will help much in tapping out talents of the learners and expose them to local and international standards through the school close collaboration with the outside international friendship networks the school has with free thinkers.

The school avails a wide selection of sports and games activities to the children.Main games at the school are foot ball, net ball, rope skipping. More games are to be introduced soon and plans are under way avail to the children especially those in the nursery section a playing room for them at times when they are not engaged in active learning.

Our children are exposed to computer lessons since we are in a world of the computer revolution, children need to be taught about computers, what they do,how computers has made life easy, the internet and its goodness and how the computers can help the children in their day to day activities. We now have a functional Computer Club at the school.

The school is also to engage in basic Agricultural Applications by exposing the children to basic gardening techniques.Uganda is a country which relies entirely on Agriculture and its a good idea for the children to be taught the skills of garden, growing flowers for fun and money etc.

The school respect the right for children not only to be confined to class rooms but to also enjoy touring different places with an intention of learning like visiting National Parks, Forests,Lakes, Religious and Historical sites,Meseums, towns and cities plus meeting new people. This refreshes the minds of the learners and improves on their level of thinking and gives them first hand chance to understand the biodiversity of nature and life forms.

The school has a vibrant club that aims at propelling humanist and free thought views to the masses of Kasese and its out skirts, it engages itself in debates, workshops, community events and out reach programs. Most of its members are current and former students of the school, some parents of KHPS and the working staff at the school.

This is a fully fledged club that aims at empowering young people with skills in the field of carpentry, tailoring, arts and crafts and weaving. All the activities for this club is done in the vocational workshop at the Rukoki campus.

This is a club that aims at tapping talents in young people at the school who can sing, make good artwork, dance, create anything unique, draw up some thing using free hand. The project is financed by Eric Oliver Pellissier, a US Born national who is a long time friend and strong admire of Kasese Humanist Primary School.
